Joseph Tawadros is a triple ARIA winner for ‘Best World Music Album’ and internationally renowned oud virtuoso and composer, performing all original music.
Touring regularly to jazz and world music festivals of Europe and Australia, collaborating with artists including Béla Fleck and Lior, Richard Tognetti and the ACO and jazz greats John Abercrombie and Christian McBride, Joseph’s music crosses western and middle-eastern classical, jazz and folk genres.
In his first-ever concert at Darwin Entertainment Centre, Joseph brings his Trio – with his phenomenal brother James Tawadros on riq (Egyptian percussion) and extraordinary jazz pianist Matt McMahon – performing works from Tawadros’ ARIA award-winning albums and his acclaimed 2017 release, “Live at Abbey Road.”
